# Claiming $EWT for Ethereum

### Claim $EWT when connected to Energy Web X

Click on `Claim` in the action list.

Click confirm to proceed.

Connect to Ethereum wallet

After connecting to Ethereum, you can proceed with the steps outlined in the next section.

### Claim $EWT when connected to Ethereum

There is an additional tab in the Transactions screen when you are connected to Ethereum called `Ready to Claim`. For this status, user may choose to claim their tokens from EWX chain to the Ethereum wallet.

When bridging EWX to ETH, ensure that the receiving ETH account has enough native ETH to fund the transaction gas fees required for claiming ERC-20 EWT tokens.

First, click on `Claim` in the action list.

Click confirm to proceed.

Approve the transaction in your wallet.

After successfully executing the transaction, balance amount will be updated and the transaction status will change to `Claimed`.
