Steps to installing and participating in Verified Compute Cloud 2026

Select your OS: Windows, macOS or Linux. Download and install applications on your PC.

Note: The VCC Runtime is a lightweight background app. It will NOT open a full interface. It runs as a taskbar/system tray icon.

2. After installing successfully. Go to the EWX Marketplace Unified (https://app.energywebx.com/verify/poolsarrow-up-right) application and subscribe to Verified Compute Playground 2026 (Testing Only) or Sustainable Aviation Fuel Certificate Registry (SAFc) Production Pool

Note: The Playground is for testing purposes only. The actual production pool is SAFc available in the VCC Hub.

a. After subscribing, ensure that the Operator Account has a linked VCC Runtime Account (previously called Worker Node Account)

This can be your existing linked runtime account

b. Go to the Energy Web VCC Runtime and set the runtime seed phrase which is the seed phrase of your linked worker node account

Important:

  • Use the seed phrase of your existing Worker Node / Runtime Account

  • If your setup has never run logic before, you may not have a worker node seed phrase yet (this is normal)

c. After setting the seed phrase, click on the "Start Runtime" menu item on the Energy Web VCC Runtime app

Important: Ensure any previous Worker Node / Marketplace Desktop app using the same seed is NOT running to avoid duplicate vote submissions.

3. Subscription amount:

Minimum is 3500 stEWT for SAFc pool

4. Once running:

The runtime will automatically submit votes.

5. If the subscribed pool does not appear in the runtime:

  • It may not yet be active in the pool

  • Wait for activation or refresh later

Notes:

  • You’ll need some stEWT in your wallet to subscribe

  • Use EWXarrow-up-right (Unified App)

  • The runtime executes logic locally, while subscription and staking are done on the web marketplace

  • Successful setup = runtime is started and votes begin submitting automatically
